Mr. Jason Bissinger

Welcome to Bailey Middle School and the 2026–2027 school year!

As we begin another exciting year together, we are proud to reflect on the tremendous success of the 2025–2026 school year, which marked Bailey Middle School’s 20th anniversary. Throughout the year, we celebrated two decades of academic excellence, student achievement, and community support while honoring the many individuals who have contributed to Bailey’s legacy. As we look ahead, we are energized by the opportunities that await our students and staff and remain committed to providing an engaging, supportive, and challenging learning environment where every student can thrive.

I am honored to serve as Principal of Bailey Middle School and am excited to begin my third year as part of this outstanding school community. My career with Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools began in 2000, and I have been privileged to serve students, families, and staff in a variety of roles throughout the district, including as principal of Winget Park Elementary and Torrence Creek Elementary. I earned my bachelor degree in Health and Physical Education from Radford University and a master's degree in School Administration from Gardner-Webb University. I am passionate about building strong relationships, supporting student success, and fostering a positive school culture where everyone feels valued and connected.

Bailey Middle School is fortunate to serve the communities of Cornelius, Huntersville, and Davidson. These communities have long supported a tradition of excellence that is reflected in our strong academic programs, dedicated staff, and remarkable students. In addition to a rich history of academic success, Bailey offers a wide variety of extracurricular and enrichment opportunities that allow students to explore their interests, develop their talents, and build meaningful connections. Whether in the classroom, on the stage, through service, or in athletic competition, our students are encouraged to discover their unique strengths and make the most of their middle school experience.
